Tickle v. Giggle: a Historic Court Case
Sall Grover speaks about how the case has affected her and what it means for women worldwide
I recently sat down with Sall Grover for an interview about her court case, Tickle v. Giggle. Sall is being sued by a man who goes by the name of Roxanne Tickle. Tickle identifies as a transwoman, and has accused Sall of discrimination for booting him (along with every other man who tried to join) off her female-only app, Giggle.
Here’s the full interview with Sall:
From its name to its substance, Tickle v. Giggle is stranger than fiction. In our interview, Sall remarks:
The court case is now upon us, and the world is waiting to hear if the Federal Court of Australia will force women’s single-sex spaces to be opened to men who claim to be women. On X, #IStandWithSallGrover is trending, while trans rights activists rant about how hateful us “TERF Nazis” are.
I posted some short clips from our interview:
One more quote from my interview with Sall:
“What I would love, and this is why [I’m] bringing as much attention to it as possible, I would love 50,000 people to each donate $10. So it's not this great big burden to anyone in particular, because the more people who know about it and support it is better than one person going and giving $500,000. Don't get me wrong, I'm not stupid. I would totally accept one person giving $500,000. But if I could have just tens of thousands of people giving $10, that would be fantastic. Because that would just be the power of people. Everyone going, no, okay, this is my little way to stand up for my rights. And the only way I can repay anyone for their generosity is basically just work as hard as possible to get your rights back.” -Sall Grover

Sall Grover provided a platform for women who divorced/just found out and so on, about a husband's secret crossdressing life. We trans widows have almost no voice. The only data in the world on our experiences here:
